Author: Lisa Hare
Lisa Hare is a former journalist and columnist who has written for numerous publications, mostly with a focus on environmental and agricultural issues.
Along her journey, she has also taught yoga, been a riding instructor, a mural painter, the co-owner of an historic saloon and hotel, and more recently, an Equine Specialist working with a Native youth program for Equine Assisted Psychotherapy with the Social Services Department of the Santee Sioux Nation Indian reservation.
Lisa presently resides on a 106-year old farmstead in Northeast Nebraska with her husband, two children and a menagerie of animals–domesticated and wild–living the dream (nightmare?) of a full-time novelist.
