Author’s Summary

The Time Tourists is a rollicking tale of a young female private eye with a special power–she can travel in time to any place, any when, as long as there is a photo. Seemingly orphaned at a young age, Imogen discovers she has the same abilities as her departed parents. Because you can’t bring anything back from the past but your experiences, Imogen opens “Dead Relatives, Inc.” her agency where she solves historical mysteries. She travels to Summer of Love San Francisco to track the what happened to a client’s long-lost runaway sister and visits the early 1900s in search of lost stereoscopic plates. During her travels, she finds herself irresistibly drawn to a charismatic man in the past, discovers her parents may not be dead after all, and is being shadowed by a mysterious stranger intent on keeping his secrets from Imogen at any cost.

An absolutely messed-up villian, a torch-bearing on-and-off again lover, a cat, and a colorful but nosy neighbor woman are just some of the well-drawn characters surrounding the independent and highly relate- able heroine.

As NY Times Best Selling author, Laurie Notaro says “”Imogen Oliver is one of the most engaging, endearing characters of modern fantasy to pop out of a book that I can ever recall. I’d follow her anywhere; backwards, forwards and upside down through time, you name it. Wherever she goes, marvelous things happen.”

The Time Tourists is 396-pages in trade paperback format.
