Make it Right: Protect Your Book With a Good Cover

Review of HALF: THE MAKERS by Natalie Wright

by Anita Lock       Reviewer Rating: 4.5 Stars

Deep in debt, Mervyn Kirby gets a job he doesn’t want by pretending to be racist. His new boss Dennis Lane thinks he’s found a kindred spirit. How far will Mervyn go to free himself? Will they settle their differences or end up killing each other? Although H.A.L.F.: The Makers is intended for teen and young adults, Wright incorporates a flavor of Star Trek and Twilight Zone episodes into her writing style, which makes it very appealing for older readers as well.

Review of PROTECTOR by Elaine Gonzales

by Chantelle Atkins       Reviewer Rating: 3.5 Stars

Protector is an interesting romantic thriller, which should appeal to people who enjoy both genres. There are plenty of steamy moments between the two main characters, Jude and Veronica, who are both members of a mysterious clan of people who become ageless at thirty. However, the clan is at war with itself, and split into two factions whose disagreements have become deadly. Veronica and Jude should be enemies…but are helplessly attracted to each other. Slow for me in parts, but the ending picks up speed with its shocking climax.

They Will Judge Your Book by Its Cover

by Renee Miller

They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but let’s face it, people DO judge it exactly that way. Your book’s cover is its packaging. It’s often the first promotional element your readers see. As such, you should want to make it the best damn packaging possible.
